You can order a custom display with a picture of your own dog and his/her achievements for your office or den. We take your photo and engrave it in the crystal - an amazing process that keeps both sides of the crystal smooth. The engraving almost glows in the light. You can also have your dog's achievement and name engraved below the photo. (Shown in the photo example below is 2003 National Open Champion Five Star General Patton.) The crystal shown measures 5" wide by 7" high. The optical crystal photo plaque is permanently bonded to an optical crystal base and then presented in a satin-lined gift box.
We specially prepare your photo for engraving using proprietary 2D+ software, and then sophisticated sub-surface engraving lasers permanently engrave your photo inside the optical crystal. Once engraved, your photo will never fade.
Available in 3" x 5", 4" x 6", 5" x 3", 5" x 7", 6" x 4", and 7" x 5" sizes, your optical crystal photo plaque is permanently bonded to an optical crystal base and then presented in a satin-lined gift box.
For information about how to get a photo engraved crystal made, please call 231-922-2292 and I'll help you through the easy process. The resolution from most newer digital cameras works perfectly for this product, and scans traditional prints can be used as well (add $10). If your camera is 3 mega pixel or higher and you've taken the photo at the highest setting you won't have a problem. Images that are 2 meg or higher are great. Images under 2 meg but higher than 0.7 meg are usually workable. JPEG or TIF files are both OK.
